The Women and Femme Folk Playwrights Circle gives women and any femme-identifying or non-binary person in the LGBTQ community an opportunity to meet in a safe environment to create text based performance and theatre work.
This member-inspired, peer-driven group meets on the First Tuesday of each month in the basement of the Francis Morrison Library, downtown Saskatoon. The group will have a guest facilitator at each meeting so that all perspectives can be honoured. Members are encouraged to use these meetings to share their work, discuss challenges, and share ideas in a safe and supportive environment.
Members interested in joining will be added to a mailing list, and an email will be sent out in advance of meetings to determine who will be attending and reading work that month. For more information, or to add your name to the list, contact Clare Middleton, firstname.lastname@example.org.
