Spring Festival
Big news!! The public readings and the workshops for this year’s Spring Festival will be at Persephone. They have generously offered us the second stage for public readings and rehearsal halls and classrooms for workshops. Our sincere thanks to them.

Casting is underway, so let Andrew know if you are interested and available May 20th to 26th. andrew@saskplaywrights.ca

A Call for Board Members
Saskatchewan Playwrights Centre is looking for board members. This is an exciting time to come on board. We’ll be re-vamping our programming and we have some new exciting and exciting ideas for taking the organization to the next level. If you would like to be a part of that contact andrew@saskplaywrights.ca.

Congratulations
A hearty congratulations to Chasing Our Tales for their inaugural production of Where it Hurts by Wendy Lockman. They had a very successful run at the Persephone Second Stage from March 14th to 18th. An auspicious start for a company dedicated to producing Saskatchewan plays.

Final Fridays
Starting is September join Andrew for a drink at the Cathedral Social Hall at 4:30 on the last Friday of every month. Come brainstorm ideas, kvetch about your rehearsals, or just be in the company of theatre artists over a tasty beverage. What better way to kick off your weekend.
